I’m trying to get up to speed on The iDOLM@STER right now, so this post might not be the most relevant and topical. Last night, as I was flying across the country, I watched Episode 15 The iDOLM@STER. Arguably, it was probably one of best episodes of anime I’ve ever watched, right up there with Episode 6 of Kure-Nai and Episode 7 of Kannagi.
Art Deco is so tasteful.
Senkou no Night Raid is one of the most memorable series I’ve ever watched. Not that it was particularly good, mind you; it was just unique.
I regret nothing.
In all of our convoluted analysis of imagery, theme and plot, we seem to have forgotten about something very fundamental— the pleasure of watching anime.
No longer the best show this season?
It’s almost mid-season, which means it’s time for me to reflect on the season so far. Personally, this has been one of the least engaging seasons I’ve ever had, but perhaps that’s because of the shows I’ve yet to watch. Without further ado, here’s a short post on my thoughts.
